The Sito Moresco Langhe DOP 2021 by Angelo Gaja is a refined blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Merlot that captures the elegance of Piedmont in a modern style. Named after the Moresco family, the vineyard’s former owners, this wine unites the power of Nebbiolo with the freshness of Barbera and the softness of Merlot. The grapes come from renowned vineyards in Barbaresco, Treiso, and Serralunga d’Alba. Each grape variety is vinified separately, with a three-week maceration. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is blended and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The result is a medium-bodied red with vibrant acidity, harmonious tannins, and a long, elegant finish.
