Der Franz Keller Spätburgunder Enselberg Großes Gewächs 2021 präsentiert sich mit einer klaren, rubinroten Farbe. In der Nase entfalten sich Aromen von reifen Beeren, Pflaumen und dezenten Röstaromen. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich kraftvoll und ausgewogen, mit einer angenehmen Säure und einer langen, anhaltenden Nachhaltigkeit.

Dieser Wein wird aus der Rebsorte Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) hergestellt, die für ihre Eleganz und Finesse bekannt ist. Typisch für Spätburgunder sind Aromen von roten Früchten, eine feine Säure und weiche Tannine. Der Ausbau im Barrique verleiht dem Wein zusätzliche Komplexität und Struktur.

Die Bezeichnung "Großes Gewächs" steht für die höchste Klassifikationsstufe trockener Weine aus den besten Lagen Deutschlands, klassifiziert vom Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter (VDP). Für den Wein bedeutet dies, dass er aus einer als "Große Lage" eingestuften Weinbergspartie stammt und strengen Qualitätskriterien unterliegt, was seine besondere Herkunft und Exzellenz unterstreicht.

Die Lage Enselberg in Jechtingen ist geprägt von Vulkangestein mit einer feinen Lössauflage, die den Weinen eine besondere Mineralität und Komplexität verleiht.
