Der Franz Keller Spätburgunder Oberrotweil 2021 präsentiert sich mit einer klaren, rubinroten Farbe. In der Nase entfalten sich Aromen von roten Beeren, insbesondere Kirsche, begleitet von floralen Noten und einem Hauch von Kräutern. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich trocken mit einer frischen Säure, gut eingebundenen Tanninen und einem saftigen Abgang.

Dieser Wein wird aus der Rebsorte Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) hergestellt, die für ihre Eleganz und Finesse bekannt ist. Typisch für Spätburgunder sind Aromen von roten Früchten, eine feine Säure und weiche Tannine. Der Ausbau im Barrique verleiht dem Wein zusätzliche Komplexität und Struktur.

Die Lage Oberrotweil im Kaiserstuhl ist geprägt von Löss- und Vulkanverwitterungsböden, die den Weinen eine besondere Mineralität verleihen. Das Weingut Franz Keller legt großen Wert auf naturnahen Weinbau und selektive Handlese, um die bestmögliche Qualität zu gewährleisten. Der Jahrgang 2021 brachte in Baden Weine mit moderatem Alkoholgehalt und frischer Säure hervor, was auf ein kühleres Jahr mit längerer Vegetationsperiode zurückzuführen ist.
