This Chianti Classico Riserva consists mainly of Sangiovese grapes, supplemented by small quantities of other autochthonous varieties. The chalky soils and the Mediterranean climate, which is characterized by warm summers and mild winters, are typical of the Chianti Classico region. These conditions create ideal conditions for growing Sangiovese, which develops its characteristic freshness and complexity here.
As a riserva, this wine must be aged for at least two years, including at least three months in the bottle. This extended aging process gives the wine additional depth and complexity by harmoniously integrating the aromas and making the tannins smoother.
