Spitalerhof

The Spitalerhof is a winery with a rich tradition, located near Klausen in the Eisack Valley. Grown over centuries, the farm is firmly anchored in South Tyrol's wine-growing history and is known for its dedication to quality and innovation. The family that runs the Spitalerhof passes on their passion for winemaking from generation to generation, maintaining a deep connection to the countryside.

The farm benefits from its specific location in the Eisack Valley, which allows the cultivation of various grape varieties, each reflecting the unique characteristics of their terroir. The main varieties include Gewürztraminer, Vernatsch and Lagrein, which are known for their aromatic intensity, freshness and elegant structure.

Sustainability is at the heart of the Spitalerhof's philosophy, with practices that both protect the environment and preserve the natural fertility of the soil. The wines are often aged in traditional oak barrels, which further enhances their complexity and depth.
