Fontodi

Fontodi Winery is regarded as one of the leading producers of Chianti Classico and is internationally renowned for its outstanding Tuscan wines. The estate is located in the heart of the famous Conca d’Oro in Panzano in Chianti, one of the most prestigious areas within the Chianti Classico region. The combination of galestro and limestone soils, ideal altitude and sunny climate creates perfect conditions for elegant, age-worthy and terroir-driven wines. For generations, the Manetti family has managed Fontodi with great passion, focusing on sustainable viticulture and meticulous vineyard work. Low yields and careful grape selection allow the estate to fully express the unique character of Panzano in Chianti.
Fontodi gained worldwide recognition through Flaccianello della Pieve, one of Italy’s most iconic pure Sangiovese wines. The Chianti Classico and the celebrated Vigna del Sorbo are also highly acclaimed among wine lovers and international critics. Alongside Sangiovese, Fontodi cultivates Syrah and Pinot Noir, producing remarkably elegant and complex wines in the Tuscan hills. The combination of traditional craftsmanship, modern cellar techniques and an exceptional vineyard location makes Fontodi one of the benchmark wineries of Tuscany. Wine enthusiasts looking for expressive Chianti Classico wines with depth, finesse and authenticity will discover some of Italy’s finest wines at Fontodi.
