Griesserhof
The winemaking tradition of Grießerhof dates back to the early modern period, as records from the Neustift Abbey show. The fertile moraine hills, which were once formed by glaciers, produce mainly white wines of exceptional quality. These are characterized by their fresh and fruity elegance and impress discerning palates.
The Griesserhof vineyards are spread over various locations, including Gols, Gall and Rigger, each offering their own unique conditions. From steep glacial moraines to high-altitude terraces to sheltered cauldron areas — each individual location shapes the character of the wines in its own way. In Lage Gols, right on our farm, Sylvaner thrives on loamy, sandy soil.
This unique environment gives Sylvaner its special touch and expressiveness. The location of Gall is located at 800 meters above sea level and faces southeast. The cool winds and rocky soil produce fresh and crisp Kerner wines that impress with their liveliness. The Griesserhof attaches particular importance to producing wines with their own character and a strong personality. Every wine that leaves the Griesserhof is the result of many years of experience, passion for viticulture and a connection with nature.
