Forchir Estate is regarded as one of the most innovative wine producers in Friuli Venezia Giulia and is located near Palmanova, in the heart of the Friuli Grave DOC area. This north-eastern Italian region is recognised as one of Europe’s most important white wine territories, shaped by a unique combination of Alpine influences, proximity to the Adriatic Sea, and mineral-rich soils. Forchir’s vineyards benefit from warm days, cool nights, and the gravel-rich alluvial soils typical of Friuli, which give the wines freshness, precision, and refined minerality.

The estate’s history dates back to 1880. Today, Forchir is managed by the Bianchini family, who successfully combine tradition and innovation with a strong commitment to quality. The estate is especially known for its sustainable and technologically advanced approach to viticulture. Forchir is fully committed to organic farming, aiming to preserve the region’s natural resources. Modern cellar technology combined with precise vineyard work enables the production of distinctive wines that clearly express both quality and origin.

At the heart of production are the grape varieties most closely associated with Friuli. Key varieties include Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and Pinot Grigio, which produce fresh and aromatic white wines with refined structure.
