Unique wines from Veneto

Gini Estate is regarded as one of the most historic producers in the Soave Classico area of Veneto and is located in Monteforte d’Alpone, east of Verona. Surrounded by the rolling hills of the historic Soave region, the Gini family cultivates vineyards on volcanic and limestone-rich soils that give the wines distinctive minerality and refined freshness. The vineyards are located in renowned sites such as Froscà and Contrada Salvarenza, areas closely linked to the family for generations. The combination of altitude, old vines, and unique soil characteristics creates ideal conditions for elegant, age-worthy white wines. 

The estate’s history stretches back several centuries. The Gini family has been cultivating vines in the Soave region since the 16th century, making it one of the oldest wine-producing families in the area. Today, the family estate is managed by brothers Sandro and Claudio Gini, who combine tradition with modern precision while maintaining a strong commitment to natural viticulture. In recent years, the vineyards have been farmed organically, an important pillar of the estate’s philosophy. 

At the heart of production is the Garganega grape variety, widely regarded as the soul of Soave Classico. It produces elegant white wines with delicate aromas of white flowers, almonds, citrus fruits, and mineral notes. Gini wines are known for their precision, freshness, and remarkable ageing potential. In addition to classic Soave wines, the estate also produces premium single-vineyard wines and the traditional Recioto di Soave, the region’s renowned sweet dessert wine. Some vines are over a hundred years old, contributing additional depth and complexity to the wines. With its clear focus on Soave Classico, organic viticulture, and terroir-driven Garganega wines, Gini is widely regarded as one of the leading references for premium white wines from Veneto.
