The DOC Pitzon 2022 Riesling from the Nals Margreid winery presents itself with a beguiling bouquet dominated by delicate floral notes and a hint of citrus fruits. Its color is a bright pale yellow with greenish reflections, which already indicates its freshness. On the palate, the wine creates a harmonious balance between lively acidity and fruity sweetness. The ripe aromas of peaches, apples and citrus fruits are accompanied by mineral nuances that give the wine a remarkable complexity.
This Riesling is obtained exclusively from the Riesling grape variety, which is known for its adaptability and distinctive sense of terroir. The grapes grow in the cool vineyards of the South Tyrolean wine region, which are characterized by their steep slopes and unique microclimate. Through careful handpicking and gentle vinification, the winemaker preserves the natural aromas and freshness of the grapes.
The Pitzon Riesling is characterized by its finesse, freshness and complexity and perfectly reflects the terroir and the character of its wine-growing region. Its lively acidity and fruity elegance make it an ideal companion for light dishes such as seafood, salads or Asian cuisine.
