Turbiana
The Turbiana grape variety, also known as Trebbiano di Lugana, is a white grape variety that is mainly grown in the Lugana region of northern Italy. This grape variety is characterized by its ability to produce wines with an excellent balance between freshness and complexity. Turbiana wines are often straw yellow in color with green reflections and present aromas of citrus fruits, green apples and white flowers. On the palate, they are fresh, mineral and have a pleasant acidity, which makes them excellent accompaniments to seafood and light fish dishes. The grape variety is known for its longevity and aging potential, which allows the aromas to develop and refine over time.
