particularly popular.The Lugana wine-growing region benefits from a mild, Mediterranean climate, which is regulated by Lake Garda. The soils are mostly clayey, which gives the wines a special minerality. Interestingly enough, Lugana DOC Brut BIO is produced using the traditional method of bottle fermentation, with the wine aged on lees for at least 18 months. This gives it its elegant structure and fine perlage. “Brut” refers to the dry style of sparkling wine, which has only a very low
residual sugar content.
