The Chiaretto Classico Garda DOC 2024 from Colli Vaibo is a fascinating rosé wine that impresses with its bright pink color with purple reflections. Made from 65% Groppello, 25% Marzemino and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine shows the best characteristics of these grape varieties. Groppello brings soft tannins and fine fruit aromas, Marzemino adds depth and structure, and Cabernet Sauvignon adds complexity and spice

The scent of Chiaretto is characterized by floral notes, in particular rose petals and lavender, which harmonize with fruity aromas of pink grapefruit, black cherry and red currant. On the palate, it is pleasantly delicate with an accentuated juiciness, which is reinforced by the mineral soils of the morainic landscape south of Lake Garda

The special feature of this wine lies in its careful production process. After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed to obtain the richest part of the must. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature over 7 to 10 days. The wine is then aged on fine lees for about four months before being refined in the bottle for another month
