The 2024 St. Magdalener from Waldgrieshof is a characterful red wine from South Tyrol, made from the indigenous Vernatsch (Schiava) grape, complemented by a small amount of Lagrein. This blend gives the wine remarkable depth and structure, while preserving its typical elegance.
On the nose, it reveals a delicate bouquet of ripe cherries, red berries, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it impresses with its fresh acidity, harmonious fruitiness, and velvety finish. An ideal companion to traditional South Tyrolean dishes, pasta, or mild cheeses.
The Waldgrieshof is one of the oldest wine estates in the classic St. Magdalener area near Bolzano. With a deep respect for tradition and a strong focus on quality, the winery produces wines with authentic character and a clear regional identity.
