The Il Primitivo IGT - vintage 2021 from the Rosa del Golfo winery in Salento, Puglia, perfectly captures the essence of the region. Its deep red color shines in the glass and invites you to taste. A first impression of the nose reveals a tempting bouquet of black fruits, red flowers, wild herbs, peppers and sweet spices, which invigorates the senses and increases the anticipation of the first sip.
This wine is made exclusively from Primitivo grapes, an autochthonous grape variety known for its intensity and complexity. The grapes for Il Primitivo IGT come from the sun-drenched Salento vineyards, which are surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation and shape the wine's terroir.
Once in the mouth, Il Primitivo IGT unfolds with a velvety, warm and full-bodied taste, which is accompanied by an elegant and persistent texture. The spicy aromas of black fruits, pepper and sweet spices dance on the tongue and leave a lasting impression.
