Schiopetto's “Blanc de Rosis” is an expressive white wine from Venezia Giulia IGT, characterized by a finely balanced blend of Friulano, Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio. This diversity reflects the characteristic nuances of the region and is presented in pale yellow with greenish reflections. The aromas are intense and include yellow fruits and floral notes that add elegance and subtlety.
On the palate, the wine is soft, but with a distinctive personality and an interesting fusion of different scents. The aftertaste is long and slightly mineral. The grapes are harvested manually, gently pressed and decanted without adding sulfur dioxide. The fermentation and subsequent aging take place over eight months in stainless steel tanks, which contributes to the purity and freshness of the wine.
The uniqueness of the “Blanc de Rosis” lies in its historical significance for the Schiopetto winery, which first produced this wine in 1986. It embodies the desire to represent the diversity of the terroir in a single bottle. This not only makes it an excellent aperitif, but also an excellent companion for seafood and pasta dishes.
