Il Secondo VdT 2022 from Weingut Peter Sölva is a complex red wine that consists of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Lagrein grape varieties, depending on the vintage. This blend gives the wine a deep garnet red to ruby red color. The scent unfolds aromas that vary depending on the dominant grape variety of the vintage, from wild fruits to

blackcurrants.

The taste of the wine is complex and harmonious, characterized by storage in wooden barrels, which gives it additional depth and complexity. The tannins are well integrated and the finish is long and satisfying. This careful vinification reflects the winery's goal of using a second selection of Amistar grapes and presenting them as “Il Secondo” after one year of maturation

A special feature of this wine is its flexible composition, which changes annually in order to optimally bring out the best qualities of each harvest. This practice gives the wine a unique profile that surprises and inspires anew every year.
