The Cabernet Merlot DOC Ramus 2018 from Ritterhof, an expressive red wine from South Tyrol, embodies the artistic combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grape varieties. This wine is characterized by its intense ruby red color with brick red edges, which reflect its maturity and complexity. On the nose, Ramus initially reveals a restrained aroma, which gradually develops into a rich bouquet of blackberries and blackcurrants. The nuances are finely tuned and are complemented by subtle hints of cedarwood, giving it extra depth.

On the palate, the wine has a fine tannin structure, which creates a pleasant texture. The aromatic complexity continues with elements of dark chocolate, some coffee and a touch of black olives, which is rounded off by a warm, slightly marmalade-like finish with roasted and chocolaty spicy notes.
