velvety finish.This wine consists of 96% Sangiovese and 4% Merlot. Sangiovese is known for its fruity aromas and its ability to reflect the nuances of the terroir. The Castello di Ama vineyards are located in Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico. The soils consist primarily of clay and limestone, which contributes to the complexity and elegance of the wine
.The climate in the region is typical of Tuscany, with hot summers and mild winters, ideal for growing Sangiovese grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks with local yeasts. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in second-used oak barrels and bottled in January 2023.
