The Pinot Noir Riserva DOC Vinschagau 2020 grows in the vineyards of the Josmoar winery in Castelbello, South Tyrol. The vines from which this fine wine comes cover the picturesque slopes of the Sonnenberg. Here, at an altitude of 600 to 700 meters, there is a unique microclimate with warm days and cool nights, which creates ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir.
In the glass, the wine is deep ruby red, which reflects the elegance and finesse of its character. The nose is wooed by a seductive bouquet of red fruits such as cherries and berries, as well as subtle notes of spices and herbs. On the palate, it has a full-bodied taste with silky tannins, harmonious acidity and a long-lasting finish.
This Pinot Noir Riserva is the result of careful vinification. The grapes are harvested by hand and, after a gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
The Pinot Noir from the Josmoar winery proudly bears the coveted Riserva status, which underlines its exceptional quality and maturity. The wine is then aged in large oak barrels for a specific period of time to develop its complex range of aromas and to refine its structure.
