Massolino's Barbaresco DOCG Albesani 2019 is an exquisite expression of the Nebbiolo grape that delights the senses with its elegance and complexity. On the nose, it presents a rich bouquet of red berries, cherries, violets and a subtle note of spices. The color is deep ruby red with garnet reflections that reflect its structure and depth. On the palate, there is a harmonious interplay of ripe fruit, floral notes and fine spices, accompanied by silky tannins and lively acidity.

The Nebbiolo grape variety used for this wine is typical of the Piedmont region and gives it its unmistakable character. Barbaresco Albesani is characterized by its elegant structure, finesse and durability, which make it an outstanding representative of its terroir. With reviews from renowned critics such as Robert Parker and Falstaff, who have both awarded 94 points, Barbaresco Albesani is a wine of the highest quality and refinement that delights and fascinates Piedmontese viticulture enthusiasts.

From the village of Neive, the Massolino 2020 Barbaresco Albesani shows more balance at this young age next to the estate's classic Barbaresco. This single-vineyard expression also has more depth with dark berry nuances, cassis, blue flower and crushed limestone. Those floral aromas emerge with pretty intensity. The Wine's Tannins are very fine and silky. Some 4,000 bottles were made.

Sparkling, brightening ruby garnet Opened with a charming nose of ripe raspberries and strawberries, some cotton candy and truffles in the background. Very juicy on the palate, polished tannin, ripe raspberry fruit, then grippy at the end, firm pressure.
