Der Château Ormes de Pez 2020 ist ein bemerkenswerter Rotwein aus der renommierten Appellation Saint-Estèphe im Bordeaux. Im Glas zeigt er ein tiefes Purpurrot mit violetten Reflexen. Das Bouquet offenbart intensive Aromen von reifen Pflaumen, Brombeeren und schwarzen Johannisbeeren, begleitet von subtilen Noten von Veilchen, Kakao, Oliven, Kräutern, Vanille und Gewürzen.

Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Wein kraftvoll und strukturiert, mit feinkörnigen Tanninen und einer lebendigen Frische. Die dunklen Fruchtaromen werden durch würzige und mineralische Nuancen ergänzt, die in einem langen, harmonischen Abgang münden. Die Cuvée des Jahrgangs 2020 setzt sich aus 54 % Merlot, 38 % Cabernet Sauvignon sowie jeweils 4 % Petit Verdot und Cabernet Franc zusammen.

Der hohe Merlot-Anteil verleiht dem Wein seine opulente Fruchtigkeit und Geschmeidigkeit, während der Cabernet Sauvignon für Struktur und Tiefe sorgt. Petit Verdot und Cabernet Franc fügen zusätzliche Komplexität und Würze hinzu.
