Bolgheri Rosato DOC Poggio ai Ginepri 2017 is an impressive rosé wine that reflects the elegance and terroir of the famous Tuscan coastal region of Bolgheri. The 2017 vintage was a special year for wine production in Bolgheri, characterized by a warm and dry climate, which resulted in an earlier harvest and a high concentration of aromas. These conditions resulted in wines with pronounced fruitiness and lively acidity, making Rosato Poggio ai Ginepri a remarkable treat.
This rosé is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The combination of these grape varieties gives the wine a fascinating complexity. Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and depth, while Merlot provides a soft texture and fruity notes. The Syrah complements the profile with a touch of spice and floral aromas. This blend makes Bolgheri Rosato a balanced and expressive wine.
On the nose, the Poggio ai Ginepri 2017 presents itself with a bouquet of fresh red berries, cherries and a hint of pink grapefruit.
