The Cabernet Merlot Riserva Sanct Valentin 2021 from the Eppan Winery is a masterpiece that seduces the senses and delights the palate. Its bouquet is characterized by intense aromas of ripe dark fruits such as cassis and blackberry, accompanied by subtle notes of tobacco and dark chocolate. The color is deep ruby red with purple reflections, a real eye-catcher in the glass. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties merge into a harmonious unity in this wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon gives it structure and depth, while Merlot provides fullness and suppleness. The grapes are carefully picked by hand and processed with great dedication at the Eppan winery. The peculiarity of this wine lies in its origin and maturation. It comes from the renowned vineyards of the Eppan winery in Überetsch in South Tyrol, where optimal climatic conditions and a unique terroir give the wine its unmistakable character.

The careful selection of grapes and the long aging in oak barrels give it complexity and elegance. The soil consists mainly of calcareous clay soil, which, together with a special training system, forms the perfect breeding ground for the vines. The wine is aged in French barrique barrels for at least 18 months, followed by further aging in the bottle before the wine finally reaches its completion.
