Der Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Honivogl 2023 vom Weingut Franz Hirtzberger präsentiert sich in hellem Grüngelb mit Silberreflexen. In der Nase entfalten sich zarte Aromen von Orangenzesten, gelbem Kernobst sowie Nuancen von Mango und Honigmelone, untermalt von einem Hauch Blütenhonig. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich saftig und elegant mit seidiger Textur, feiner Extraktsüße und einem finessenreichen Säurebogen. Die mineralische Note und der lange Nachhall unterstreichen seine Komplexität und sein Entwicklungspotenzial.

Dieser Wein besteht zu 100 % aus Grüner Veltliner, einer Rebsorte, die für ihre gelbfruchtigen Aromen und pfeffrige Würze bekannt ist. Die Trauben stammen aus dem Honivogl-Weingarten am Fuße des Singerriedels, dessen mineralische Böden und Südlage ideale Bedingungen für diesen herausragenden Wein bieten. Der Jahrgang 2023 zeichnet sich durch eine präzise und ausgereifte Frucht sowie eine harmonisch integrierte Säure aus, was auf die optimalen klimatischen Bedingungen während der Vegetationsperiode zurückzuführen ist. Mit 98 Falstaff-Punkten ausgezeichnet, zählt dieser Wein zu den Spitzenweinen seines Jahrgangs und verspricht ein enormes Reifepotenzial.
