Podere Le Ripi is proud to present its Rosso di Montalcino DOC “Sogni & Follia” 2019, a gem from the famous Montalcino wine-growing region. This wine, pressed from 100% Sangiovese, shows a deep ruby red color in the glass, which seduces the eyes with its sparkle. The nose is enveloped by a beguiling bouquet of red cherries, juicy plums and notes of wild herbs and spices. A touch of violet gives an additional nuance and underlines the finesse of this wine.

The palate has a rich texture with silky tannins and lively acidity, which perfectly balances the fruitiness of Sangiovese. Aromas of wild fruits, tobacco and a touch of chocolate make this wine a true pleasure experience.

The

unique terroir character, which captures the character of Sangiovese and the influences of the Mediterranean climate and the surrounding vegetation, is typical of this wine and the wine-growing zone. The warm days and cool nights in Montalcino provide optimal conditions for the grapes to mature and contribute to the complexity and elegance of this wine.

The wine is fresh and vibrant, with a silky, mid-weight mouthfeel and easy transitions. The finish is smooth, fruity and fresh. This is a fun wine to drink (released with 22,500 bottles).
