The Bardolino Superiore DOCG Santa Lucia 2022 from Cavalchina is an outstanding red wine from the Veneto region. This wine has an intense and bright ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of red fruits, cherries and dark cherries develop, accompanied by spicy notes. On the palate, it has a fresh and elegant structure, soft tannins and a long-lasting, spicy finish. This wine is made from Corvina, Rondinella, Marzemino and Barbera grapes. Corvina is known for its powerful cherry and berry flavors, while Rondinella adds freshness and structure. Marzemino and Barbera complement the profile with additional fruit and spice nuances.

The morainic soils, which are rich in limestone, clay and small pebbles, are typical of the Bardolino wine-growing region on the southeastern shore of Lake Garda. These soils, combined with the mild climate regulated by Lake Garda, create ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes.

The DOCG classification (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) stands for the highest quality level of Italian wines. These wines must meet strict regulations regarding origin, production and quality. The Bardolino Superiore must mature for at least one year and have a higher alcohol content than the normal Bardolino, giving it additional depth

and complexity.
