The Pinot Noir Riserva DOC Matan 2022 from Weingut Pfitscher is an outstanding wine from the Montan region in South Tyrol, known for its deep dark red color and rich aromas. This wine has an intense fragrance profile with notes of wild berries and a hint of violet, typical of the high-quality Pinot Noir sites in this area. The large temperature fluctuations between day and night during the ripening period give the matan its fruity character and ensure remarkable longevity and elegance.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, this wine perfectly reflects the Montan terroir. Fermentation takes place in fermentation tanks for about two weeks, followed by aging in small and large oak barrels for 12 to 15 months, which refine the wine's structure and intensify the aromatic nuances.

The combination of traditional craftsmanship and the special location make Pinot Noir Riserva Matan an excellent representative of its kind. This wine is particularly recommended with red meat and game, which highlights its diverse aromas and rounds off the culinary experience.
