The Lagrein Riserva DOC Gries Anton 2021 from Schmid Oberrautner is an impressive wine that develops its unique personality through careful production and aging in barrique barrels. The color is rich garnet red with purple reflections, which underlines its depth and concentration. Its scent is multi-faceted and seduces with fruity notes and spicy nuances of chocolate and leather that surround the senses.

The taste of this Lagrein Riserva is full-bodied and complex. Its aromas are complex and intense, with an impressive structure and richness that caress the palate. The grapes for this wine are carefully harvested by hand and then fermented in steel tanks before maturing in American oak barrels for a further 11 months, which gives the wine additional depth and complexity.
