The Lagrein Riserva DOC 2021 from Glögglhof under the direction of Franz Gojer is a prime example of the championship in viticulture. This fine wine comes from three excellent Lagrein sites: Gries, St. Magdalena and Bozner Boden, known for their ideal growing conditions, which give this wine its characteristic depth and complexity.

The Lagrein Riserva is an intense garnet red, which immediately signals its depth and complexity. This opulent wine exudes a seductive aroma of red and black berries, combined with notes of warm spice and dark chocolate, which make an olfactory invitation. On the palate, Lagrein Riserva unfolds with a robust structure and rich richness, while the harmonious integration of acidity, tannins and spicy nuances promises a long-lasting and complex finish

The name 'Riserva' indicates an extended aging period, both in small and large oak barrels, followed by further ageing in the bottle. This process not only gives Lagrein Riserva its impressive complexity, but also an extraordinary ability to age.
