Der Lagrein Riserva Vigna Castel Ringberg 2022 von Elena Walch präsentiert sich in einem tiefen Granatrot. In der Nase entfaltet er ein intensives Bouquet von roten Beeren wie Cranberry und Johannisbeere, ergänzt durch Noten von Schokolade und feinem Tabak. Am Gaumen beeindruckt der Wein mit einer vollmundigen, samtigen Textur, gut eingebundenen Tanninen und einer lebendigen Frische, die durch eine würzige Mineralität im langen Abgang abgerundet wird.

Dieser Wein besteht zu 100% aus der autochthonen Südtiroler Rebsorte Lagrein, die für kräftige, tiefdunkle Rotweine mit intensiver Frucht und samtigen Tanninen bekannt ist. Die Trauben stammen aus der Einzellage Vigna Castel Ringberg, die sich durch kalkhaltige und moränische Böden sowie große Temperaturunterschiede zwischen Tag und Nacht auszeichnet. Diese Bedingungen fördern eine intensive Aromatik und Finesse der Weine.
