The Sauvignon Stein, a fine wine from the renowned Eichenstein Winery, captivates with its exceptional character and refinement. The grapes for this wine are grown at an altitude of 520 meters at the southernmost point of the winery. This unique location imparts a remarkable depth and minerality to the wine, making it a true delight. In the glass, the Sauvignon Stein presents a bright golden hue. Its enchanting aroma combines exotic fruit notes of passion fruit and gooseberry with greenish nuances of freshly mown grass. On the palate, it unfolds a harmonious blend of juicy fruitiness, refreshing acidity, and a delicate salty note, which provides a long-lasting finish. 
The Sauvignon Blanc grape, which gives this wine its unique personality, is cultivated with great care and dedication. The grapes undergo a short skin contact period during pressing, followed by fermentation in 500-liter wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The aging on full lees for 12 months adds additional complexity and texture to the wine, while a subsequent 7-month storage on fine lees in stainless steel tanks perfects its flavors.
