The Matarocchino DOC from the 2019 vintage is an exquisite wine with a deep ruby red color. Its bouquet is rich and layered, with aromas of dark berries, plums, spices, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity structure. This wine includes the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. The specialty of this wine lies in its complexity and depth, paired with an elegant structure and a long-lasting finish. It embodies the essence of the Chianti Rufina area, one of the most renowned wine regions of Tuscany, and is known for its ability to gain complexity and refinement with age. 
Typical of the Matarocchino and the Chianti Rufina area are the Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and cool nights, and the calcareous soils, which give the grapes a unique minerality. Renowned wine critics have highly praised the Matarocchino DOC of the 2019 vintage. For example, Wine Enthusiast awarded it 93 points, describing it as "a powerful and expressive wine with impressive complexity and structure."
