Botrosecco Maremma DOC - 2022 is a fascinating wine that reflects the unique terroir of Maremma in Tuscany. Its deep red color with purple reflections attracts the senses. On the nose, an intense bouquet of dark berries unfolds, accompanied by nuances of black cherries, plums and a touch of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with ripe tannins and an excellent structure balanced by lively acidity. The aftertaste is long-lasting and elegant, with lingering notes of dark
fruits and spices.
The main grape varieties are Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Savignon with a 60 to 40 blend. The maritime influence, which shapes the microclimate and creates optimal conditions for growing vines, is typical of this wine and the wine-growing zone. The soils consist of a mixture of clay, limestone and sand, which give the wine complexity and structure. The education system is usually Guyot or trellis to ensure optimal solar radiation
and air circulation.
