The Brut Rosé DOC from Arunda is an elegant sparkling wine that is produced using the traditional method of bottle fermentation. This wine consists of equal parts of Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, which gives it its unique characteristics.
In the glass, Brut Rosé is bright salmon pink with a fine, long-lasting perlage. The bouquet is characterized by delicate, nutty and floral notes, complemented by ripe pomaceous fruit and a touch of red berries. On the palate, the wine has moderate yeast aromas, a medium-fine mousse and a slightly tannic feel. It is slightly sweet and creamy with a touch of tobacco and dried mushrooms on the aftertaste, which is good to very good.
The Arunda sparkling wine cellar, founded by Josef Reiterer, is located in Mölten, South Tyrol, at an altitude of 1,200 meters and is the highest sparkling wine cellar in Europe. This altitude offers ideal conditions for winegrowing with warm days and cool nights, which give the grapes a distinctive freshness and aroma. The soils, a mixture of clay and moraine material, contribute to the mineral structure of the wines.
