The Extra Brut DOP Cuvée Marianna from Arunda is an exquisite sparkling wine made from Chardonnay (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%) grape varieties. The grapes for this wine come from the best sites in Terlano and Salorno, where the soils consist of porphyry and calcareous rocks. These special soil conditions and the region's microclimate give the wine its unique minerality and freshness.
In the glass, the Marianna cuvée has a bright, golden yellow color and a lively, persistent perlage. The scent is complex and seductive, with notes of citrus, green apple and white flowers, complemented by fine yeast aromas and a touch of roasted almonds and brioche. On the palate, it is fresh and elegant, with a creamy texture, well-integrated acidity and a long, mineral finish. Ageing on the lees for at least 60 months gives the wine additional depth and complexity.
