Goulee Rouge by Cos d'Estournel
The Goulée Rouge 2021 from Château Cos d'Estournel is presented in a deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core and purple reflections. The bouquet is rich and complex, with aromas of figs, black cherries and a touch of plums, backed by chocolaty nuances. This combination is completed by ripe tannins and mineral-salty notes on the finish, giving the
wine an impressive depth and complexity.The wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Merlot brings soft, fruity notes, while Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure and depth and Cabernet Franc provides additional aromatic complexity. A special feature of Goulée Rouge is its terroir in northern Médoc, where the vines benefit from excellent natural ventilation and grow on gravel and clay soils.
