Rosato Maggese IGT
The Rosato Maggese IGT 2021 from Castelli del Grevepesa has a vivid, bright coral color. Its scent is a tempting mix of raspberry caramel and pink grapefruit, complemented by wild strawberries and dog rose, with subtle salty notes. The taste of the wine is fresh, simple and easy to drink, with fruity aromas dominating and a slight tannic note giving structure and purity
.This rosé wine consists mainly of Sangiovese grapes, with a small proportion of other complementary grape varieties. Sangiovese is known for its lively acidity and bright cherry aromas, which give the wine freshness and complexity. The wine is harvested manually and, after approximately 12 hours of maceration at a controlled temperature, fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh and fruity
character.Typical of the Rosato Maggese IGT and the Costa Toscana wine-growing region is the fresh and fruity style, which is characterized by the use of Sangiovese and the region's special microclimate. The Riserva classification means that the wine has undergone a longer aging period, giving it
additional depth and complexity.
