The Trento DOC Brut Domini - vintage 2018 - by Abate Nero embodies the essence of the Trentino wine region and is the epitome of refinement and quality. The elegant look of this sparkling wine is characterized by the careful care of Chardonnay, which has developed its perfect harmony on the lees during a long aging period. The Abate Nero winery, created from the union of the Lunelli and de Castel Terlago families, stands for the highest level of excellence and tradition.
In the picturesque hills of Trento, with breathtaking views of the majestic Dolomites, lies the home of Abate Nero. Since 1973, the winery has been producing high-quality Trentodoc wines and helping to strengthen the reputation of the region.
Abate Nero's “Domini” Brut is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, which grow in a particularly suitable area between the Dolomites and Lake Garda. After careful harvesting and gentle pressing, the grapes are sent for vinification. The base wine is then bottled and prepared for the second fermentation before resting on the lees for around 70 months.
In the glass, the Domini Brut 2018 has a bright golden yellow color and a lively, persistent perlage. The nose is dominated by a bouquet of candied citrus fruits, bergamot, apples and ripe yellow fruits, accompanied by mineral nuances and a subtle note of roasted nuts. On the palate, it reveals an impressive balance and an enveloping body that has achieved remarkable complexity and structure as a result of its long maturation.
