The Cannonau di Sardegna DOC BIO 2021 from Le Anfore di Elena Casadei is an outstanding organic red wine that impresses with its traditional vinification in terracotta amphoras. This wine has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, powerful notes of fresh blueberries, cherries and raspberries develop, accompanied by a bouquet of violets, red roses and cloves as well as a touch of Calabrian licorice, Sichuan pepper, myrtle and black mulberry. On the palate, the wine is fresh and fruity, with excellent vinosity and spicy, peppery notes. The finish is full and enveloping, with lingering aromas of freshly squeezed
fruit and licorice root.This wine is made from 100% Cannonau grapes, a grape variety that is native to Sardinia and is known for its intense fruit aromas and soft tannins. The Cannonau grapes are carefully selected and cultivated using organic farming methods, which ensures the natural quality and purity of the wine. The vineyards are located on two different types of soil: sandy-calcareous and volcanic soils, which contribute to the complexity and minerality of the
