The Syrah Toscana IGT 2021 from Le Anfore di Elena Casadei is an exquisite organic red wine that is aged in terracotta amphorae to optimally preserve the aromas and structure of the grapes. This wine has a deep purple-red color. The scent unfolds distinctive notes of black pepper, accompanied by leather and iron-rich nuances. Subtle notes of rosemary and aromatic herbs blend with aromas of blueberries, licorice and ripe plum. On the palate, the wine is dry and full-bodied, with strong but well-integrated tannins and a persistent,
tasty finish.The grape variety used in this wine is 100% Syrah. Syrah is known for its powerful aromas of dark fruits, spices and sometimes floral notes. This grape variety grows particularly well in Tuscany, where the Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters offers ideal conditions. The vegetation is characterized by aromatic herbs and Mediterranean plants, which give the wines additional complexity.
