The Kalterersee Classic DOC Keil BIO 2022 comes in a bright, bright ruby red color. The scent is a delicate fruity bouquet of ripe cherries and roasted almonds. On the palate, the wine is juicy and easy to drink, with an elegant structure and a harmonious finish
.The special feature of this wine lies in its production: The destemmed grape berries are placed in wooden vats for mash fermentation, with fermentation taking place spontaneously with the grape's own yeasts. The maceration takes one week at relatively low temperatures (24°C) and little maceration, which gives the wine its fine structure. During the five-month aging on fine yeast in large wooden barrels, the aroma and taste continue to refine.
Thefruity aromas and the light, elegant structure are typical of this wine and the wine-growing zone around Lake Kaltern. The climate with warm days and cool nights contributes to optimal ripening of the grapes
