The Kalterersee Auslese DOC Quintessenz 2022 from the Kaltern winery is a fascinating red wine that perfectly captures the essence of the wine-growing zone and the characteristics of this unique region. Its bouquet is characterized by a seductive scent of dark cherries, wild berries and a touch of spicy herbs, which seduces the senses with its complexity and intensity. The color of this wine is deep ruby red with purple reflections, which is already indicative of its depth
and concentration.
The main grape variety in this wine is Vernatsch, an autochthonous variety from South Tyrol known for its fruity aromas and elegant structure. The grapes are carefully grown on the sun-drenched slopes of the vineyards around Lake Kaltern and vinified under optimal conditions to produce a wine of the highest quality and expressiveness. The specialty of this wine also lies in its exquisite quality, which means that it is selected and vinified from the best grapes from a specific harvest to offer a product of exceptional finesse and refinement.
