La Contessa DOC BIO 2023 from the Manincor winery is an outstanding white wine that impresses with its elegance and complexity. This organic wine is grown with great care and under strict biodynamic principles, which underlines its purity and expressiveness.
La Contessa is made from a harmonious blend of Pinot Blanc (55%), Chardonnay (28%) and Sauvignon Blanc (17%) grapes. Pinot Blanc brings finesse and structure, Chardonnay adds richness and creaminess, while Sauvignon Blanc provides freshness and aromatic intensity.
In the glass, La Contessa is bright yellow with greenish reflections. Its bouquet has a fresh scent of apples and apricots, complemented by a touch of sage. On the palate, the wine is dense and elegant, with a smooth texture and long-lasting
minerality. What isspecial about this wine is the origin of the grapes: Two thirds come from the Lieben Aich vineyard in Terlan, a west-facing slope at 300 meters above sea level with water-permeable, sandy soil on porphyry weathered rocks. The remaining third comes from Campan in Kaltern, which gives the wine additional complexity and depth
