The Sauvignon DOC Mantele 2022 from the Nals Margreid winery is a remarkable wine that impresses with its distinctive personality. Its scent is characterized by intense aromas of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and mango, accompanied by nuances of gooseberries and fresh herbs. The color of this wine is bright straw yellow with greenish reflections, which already indicates its freshness and liveliness. The taste reveals an impressive variety of fruity and spicy notes, which are accompanied by a lively acid structure and elegant minerality.

The Sauvignon Blanc grape variety, which dominates this wine, is characterized by its high variety of aromas and freshness. The grapes for this wine are carefully picked by hand and then gently pressed to preserve the aromatic intensity. The special location of the vineyards on the steep slopes of the Nals Margreid Valley contributes to the development of complex aromas and excellent ripening of the grapes.

The aging process of this wine takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in wooden barrels to further accentuate the complex variety of aromas and give the wine structure. The result is an elegant and balanced Sauvignon Blanc that remarkably reflects the terroir of the Etschtal Valley.
