Müller Thurgau DOC Aristos 2022 from the Eisacktal winery is a remarkable wine that impresses with its characteristic variety of aromas and elegant structure. On the nose, it has a seductive scent of ripe apples, juicy pears and floral notes of acacia flowers. The color of this wine is pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, reflecting its freshness and liveliness. On the palate, there is a fruity taste of exotic fruits such as pineapple and peach, accompanied by a pleasant minerality and a refreshing acid structure.
The Müller Thurgau grape variety, also known as Rivaner, is a cross between Riesling and Madeleine Royale. It grows particularly well in cool wine-growing regions such as the Eisack Valley, where the terroir is characterized by clay-rich soils and an alpine climate. The special feature of this wine lies in its ability to perfectly combine the unique characteristics of the terroir and the grape variety, resulting in a harmonious and balanced taste experience. The cool nights and warm days are typical of Müller Thurgau DOC Aristos and the wine-growing zone of the Eisack Valley, which offer the grapes optimal conditions to slowly ripen and develop their aromas.
