Merlot Cabernet Riserva DOC Anticus - vintage 2021 - from the Nals Margreid winery is an outstanding wine that impresses with its complexity and elegance. The color is deep ruby red with shades of purple. The bouquet is intense and seductive, characterized by aromas of ripe dark berries such as blackcurrant and blackberry, accompanied by fine notes of tobacco, vanilla and a touch of spices.

The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties give this wine its characteristic structure and richness. Merlot brings fruitiness and richness, while Cabernet Sauvignon contributes to complexity with its strong tannins and spicy aromas. The winery relies on careful hand harvesting of the grapes and traditional winemaking, followed by a long aging period in oak barrels. This Riserva wine is only brought to market after a longer maturation period in order to develop its full maturity and complexity.
