Pinot Grigio DOC Gris 2024 from Weingut Kornell is a characterful white wine that impresses with its lively freshness and juicy texture. This grape variety, known as Pinot Grigio, grows in the vineyards of Oberplanitzing, Kaltern, on a south-east facing slope at an altitude of 400 meters. This location offers ideal conditions for the vines, which grow on porphyry soil, which gives the wine a special minerality.
The Gris 2024 is bright yellow with amber reflections. On the nose, it develops distinctive fruity aromas of Kaiser Alexander pears and yellow peaches, complemented by the scent of freshly broken coconut and hay flowers. On the palate, the wine impresses with a full-bodied, structured and elegant texture, lively freshness and juicy fullness, which is accompanied by a mineral nerve.
