Der Gewürztraminer DOC 2023 vom Landesweingut Laimburg ist ein charaktervoller Weißwein, der die typischen Eigenschaften der Gewürztraminer-Rebe widerspiegelt. Im Glas präsentiert er sich in einem satten Goldgelb mit leicht grünlichen Reflexen. Das Bouquet ist intensiv und aromatisch, geprägt von Düften nach Rosen, Litschi und exotischen Früchten wie Mango und Ananas. Am Gaumen entfaltet er eine vollmundige Struktur mit einer dezenten Säure, die die natürliche Restsüße harmonisch ausbalanciert. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend und von einer feinen Würze begleitet.

Die Gewürztraminer-Rebe, auch als Roter Traminer bekannt, zählt zu den ältesten und aromatischsten Weißweinsorten weltweit. Typisch für diese Rebsorte sind Weine mit intensiven floralen und fruchtigen Aromen, einer kräftigen goldgelben Farbe und einem vergleichsweise niedrigen Säuregehalt. Die Trauben zeichnen sich durch ihre rötlich gefärbten Beeren und die dicke Schale aus, die sie widerstandsfähig gegen Krankheiten macht.
