Der Château Angélus 2021 präsentiert sich in einer tiefen, intensiven Farbe. Das Bouquet offenbart Aromen von schwarzen Früchten, ergänzt durch subtile florale Noten und einen Hauch von Gewürzen. Am Gaumen zeigt er eine bemerkenswerte Frische und Eleganz, mit feinkörnigen Tanninen und einer ausgewogenen Struktur, die in einem langen, harmonischen Abgang mündet.

Dieser Wein besteht hauptsächlich aus Cabernet Franc (60 %) und Merlot (40 %). Typisch für den Cabernet Franc sind seine aromatische Komplexität und Struktur, während der Merlot für Geschmeidigkeit und Fruchtigkeit sorgt. Die Kombination dieser Rebsorten verleiht dem Wein Tiefe und Eleganz.

Der Jahrgang 2021 war geprägt von herausfordernden Wetterbedingungen, darunter ein feuchter Frühling und Frostperioden. Dennoch gelang es Château Angélus, durch sorgfältige Weinbergsarbeit und präzise Vinifikation einen Wein von hoher Qualität zu erzeugen, der die Charakteristik des Terroirs widerspiegelt.

Château Angélus liegt in der renommierten Weinregion Saint-Émilion im Bordeaux und trägt die Klassifizierung Premier Grand Cru Classé A, die höchste Auszeichnung in dieser Appellation.
